To day about 1200 to 1500 people gather to celebrate the birth day of MOHAMMAD (pbuh) In Mangere hall, it was first biggest gathering I for Eid Milad n Nabi I have ever seen,

Function started at 6:30pm with name of ALLAH, a beautiful Tlawat of Holy Quran recited by Hafiz Junade and Molana Salim did the English translation for those who don’t under stand Urdu or Arabi

6:45 Chief guest and Pir Hashmi Sahib present with gift of flowers by two children, After this Mr Farooq Khan president of south Auckland Muslim association welcomed every one

7:00 pm Due to some other commitment (as usual) Ch Ashrif Mp requested to have his turn first as he had to go some other meeting, Mr Ashrif did very good and logical speech, in which he emphasise on Muslim people come out of conservatism,” open up yourself to other religions invite them in Masques tell them about Islam and tell them the meaning of Islam and preach them that we are peaceful people of a peaceful religion, You got nothing to hide Islam is the other name of peace” at the end he red the message of Prime Minster to crowed. He told the crowed that he has appointed Mr Vishnu as his sectary in Auckland, if any body have any problem about govt matter can contact Mr Vishnu

Then Stage sectary Sheikh Mushtaq called Fazal Coya who is the deputy speaker of Fiji Muslim league party, he told the gathering about the hard ship of Muslim league to get Eid Milad n Nabi day on public holiday list, He said now with grace of God we celebrate Eid Milad n Nabi openly all day

7:45 Pir Hashmi shed the light over importance of Eid Milad n Nabi And tell the crowed about the preparation for the next world He said that if you will waste time here you will be defaulter in next world and will be punished, to avoid that punishment you must do good deeds

All credit goes Sheikh Mushtaq and his team who spent this much time, money and effort to bring this magnificent function to Muslim community it was not a easy task to cook for 1500 people and serve them without any hick ups, Sohni Dharti salute Sheik Mushtaq and his team and wish that  God Almighty give us gust to do 14 of Aug like this in a brief interview with Mr Mushtaq said that it took him 6 weeks and 75 strong people and about 12 meetings to organize this massive function
