CHAKWAL APRIL, 30. District and Session Judge Chakwal
Ch: Riaz Ahmad awarded one year rigorous imprisonment
to a drug pusher of Dhudial Police Station on Tuesday.
The accused confessed his crime, therefore the court
adopted a lenient view against the accused.  The
accused Muhammad Javid S/O Munawar Hussain resident of
mohallah kashmirian Dhudial was also fined rupees 1000
and in default he will have to under go one months
more imprisonment.  The Police had recovered 205 grams
chares from him.  In the meantime in-charge motor
vehicle examiner Chakwal fined 67 vehicles involved in
various irregularities while 27 vehicles were banned
to come on the road due to their faulty condition and
their fitness was suspended and their fitness
certificate was cancelled.

CHAKWAL APRIL, 30. In two different incident at
Village Murid some ten kilometer from here on Tuesday
a ready wheat amounting rupees three lac were burnt
into ashes while the trees amounting rupees one lac
were also hit by the fire.  In the firest icident 32
trucks of wheat owned by Ch: Arif S/O Ch: Bostan Khan
was ready for transpoertation when all of a sudden a
fire from cigrate lit the whole storage and in a few
minutes the wheat amounting rupees two lacs were burnt
into ashes.  In the 2nd incident the wheat storage
amounting rupees one lac of Amir Ali S/O Amir Khan was
also burnt and in this process the adjoyning trees
amounting rupees one lac was also burnt. 

CHAKWAL APRIL,30. Six elementary schools of District
Chakwal were upgraded to high school level while a
primary school was also upgraded to elementary level.
District Government Chakwal issued a notification of
the upgradation of elementary school Singwala,
elementary school Bheen, elementary school Akwal,
elementary school Thoa Bahadur and elementary school
Noor Pur.  Boy’s primary school Hattar was upgraded to
elementary level.  EDO Education Department Chakwal
has directed the concerned authorities to start the
classes in these schools.
