CHAKWAL, Sept 17: Lahore High Court director Anti
Corruption Department to hold an inquiry against of
SHO Kallar Kahar police station on the petition of
former judge of anti terrorist court. The former judge
S.M Shad contended that he was kidnap by some unknown
people alongwith his car and he accused threw him out
from the car near Jhelum and snatched the car. Later
on the said car was recovered by Kallar Kahar police
station and after the recovery since 9 months, SHO of
Kallar Kahar police station Shahid Hussain started
using this vehicle for his personal use. The car was
handed over to the former judge in a very poor
condition. The petitioner feared that the said SHO had
a closed contact with the unknown criminal who were
still at large. The learnt court after hearing the
argument ordered investigation officer of this case
and director anti corruption Lahore to record the
statement of the former judge and proceed against the
SHO under the law.

CHAKWAL, Sept 17: The issue of distribution of water
was settled in water accord that was signed by all the
four provincial governments and federal government in
1991 and according to this accord every province is
free to preserve their water reservoir and can
construct dam to fulfill its requirements. This was
stated by former federal minister and leader of PPP
Patriot Dr. Sher Afgan while talking to newsmen on
Wednesday. He was of the view that the construction of
Kala Bagh Dam is the life line of the country and
therefore no politics should be made on this issue as
Kala Bagh Dam is a national issue and all the four
provinces will be benefited from it. He told that the
hidal power generation is not only viable for the
promotion of our economy but after the functioning of
kala Bagh dam, all the barrel land of the country will
be converted into green strip and agriculture
revolution will put Pakistan in strong position. He
asked the leader of NWFP and Sindh provinces to hold
dialogue if they feel that there is something wrong
for these two provinces and he was sure that the
government will take into confident all the four
provinces regarding the construction of Kala Bagh Dam.
