CHAKWAL Sep 1. Hundred of journalists from
Rawalpindi division on Sunday came out on the road and
they staged a protest rally and demanded immediate
arrest of the killer of Pindadankhan based Raja Ejaz
Ahmad who was murdered some 15 days ago and police has
not yet traced out the culprits. The rally started
from Chakwal press club and it was led by president of
divsinonal union of journalist Kh. Baber Saleem and
Sec. Gen. Nadeem Raza Khan Attock. The participants
were carrying banner and playcards and slogans against
Jhelum police and Punjab government were inscribed.
They are full shouted slogen and demanded immediate
arrest of killer of Raja Ejaz Ahmad. The rally march
on the various roads ending at Bhoun Chowk Chakwal,
the jounaist also wore black stripes on their
shoulder. Earlier a protest meeting was also held at
Chakwal press club and it was addressed by Yousaf Naz,
Muhammad Khan Aqil, Tariq Paracha, Basar Khokhar,
Abdullah Asif, Nadeem Raza Khan, Akhtar Arain, Abdul
Sitar Azad, Raja Muhammad Javid, Mian Muhammad
Naqashbandi, Chairman press club Fahim Akhtar Butt and
Kh. Baber Saleem. The speaker criticized the role of
Jhelulm police and dispite the assurance of DIG
Rawalpindi range Sh. Aqrar Ahamd that the killer of
the Raja Ejaz Ahmad will be arrested very soon as not
yet materialized and it speaks itself the law and
order situation in Punjab province. A resolution was
adopted unanimously and it was demanded that if the
killer of Raja Ejaz Ahmad were not apprehended then
the jourlaist community will made stage in front of
Punjab Assembly as well as in front of parliament at
Islamabad. The journalist community from all over the
four district of Rawalpinid division, Chakwal, Jhelum,
Attock and Rawalpindi ended the protest meeting and
protest rally.

CHAKWAL Sep 1. Federal Minister for information
Sh. Rashed Ahmad said that dispit the high handedness
and brutul killing at Kashmir, Palestine, Bosnia,
Chachina, and Iraq but still these lands had a similar
slogan of Nara-e-Takbeer Allah Akbar which is common
among the muslim community and now the time has come
that muslim ummah should put aside all their
differences and it should be united at a common
plate-form. He was addressing a big public gathering
of Mahfal-e-Nat at village Tatral some four KM from
here on Saturday night. The Mahfal-e-Nat was presided
over by renowned religious figure Pir Naqib Ur Rehman
while parliamentary secretary Ch. Ejaz Hussain Farhat
was also present on this occasion. More than 10
thousand men and women from all over the area attended
this spiritual meeting. The minister was of the view
that he himself is a big sinner but due to the prayer
of some religious people, the doors of the masoulum
Prophet  Muhammad (PBUH) were opened thrice for him
and it is a great privilege for him. The minister was
of the view that Islamic Umah can be successful only
if it should adopt the teaching of Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH). Mahfal-e-Nat started after the Isha prayer and
it remained continued till 3:00 A.M. The renowned
naatkhwan participated in this mahfal-e-naat.
