CHAKWAL SEPTEMBER, 7. District Nazim Chakwal Sardar
Ghulam Abbas on Sunday in his message on literacy day
vowed to make literacy rate 100% in district Chakwal
and district Government is making all out efforts in
this regard. District Nazim regrited that the
education department was ignored despite effect that
no society and nation can progress without promoting
literacy rate. District Nazim was confident that the
compulsory primary education will be implemended and
the laws will be inforced in this regard, basic
amenities will be provided at the schools, vacant
vacancies will be filled and special literary center
will be established for women to promote literacy rate
in the district.

CHAKWAL SEPTEMBER, 7. Four persons armed with dandas
attacked on the butcher shop at Millat Chowk Chawal
resulting some serious injuries to the butcher and his
brother. Muhammad Imran butcher R/O Moti Bazar Chakwal
lodged a report in the police station that when he and
his borther Mehmood Ahmad were selling meat at their
shop the accused Muhammad Naeem and his father
alongwith two unidentified person came on the
motorcycle and they attacked on us. Muhammad Imran
received head injuries while multiple injuries were
inflicted to his brother Mahmood Ahmad. City police
Chakwal registered a case and started investigations.

CHAKWAL SEPTEMBER, 7. New Surgeon were appointed at
DHQ hospital Chakwal as this important vacancy was
lying vacant for the last one month. Syed Aqrar
Hussain Shah assumed the charge of surgeon as his
predecessor Mr. Saleem  Minhas resigned from the post
and went to Saudia Arabia.
