CHAKWAL SEPTEMBER, 2. DIG Rawalpindi Range promoted
four Assistant Sub Inspector of District Chakwal at
the rank of Sub Inspector and their notification have
been issued.  Those who were promoted to Sub Inspector
are Tariq Bin Aziz of Saddar Police Station Chakwal,
Syed Ghulam Abbas Shah of Kallar Kahar Police Station,
Ch: Sarfraz Khan of Tamman Police Station and Muhammad
Ashraf of Rescue 15.  All the four said Police
officials have been crowned at the new rank. 

CHAKWAL SEPTEMBER, 2. Prize scheme of PEPSI Cola was
a fraud and a winner a retired Sub Inspector Mehboob
Hussain Shah whose lucky number 067 was announced on
Television and rupees 10 million prize was announced
but when he went to collect his prize he was asked to
go Rawalpindi and from Rawalpindi he was advised to
collect his prize from Gujranwala and from the last 34
days he had become a rolling stone.  Mehboob Hussain
Shah filed a civil suite in the court of Senior Civil
Judge Chakwal and the learned court ordered a stay
order against the administration of PEPSI Cola.  The
learned judge ordered notice to the respondent for
12th September and directed that the prize money
claimed by the petitioner on the basis of token no 067
dated 26th July be not distributed to any person
without hearing and settling the claim of the
petitioner. 

CHAKWAL SEPTEMBER, 2. A ten years old girl was
sexually assaulted at Village Waryamal in the area of
Saddar Police Station some 12 kilometer from here.
The mother of the victim lodged a report in the Police
Station that the accused Tauseef Ahmad who is the son
of Sub Inspector Sindh Police took her daughter to the
farm field and where he rapped her.  After medical
examination of the victim at District Headquarter
Hospital Chakwal sexually assault was proved, Police
registered a case of Hadood Ordinance against the
accused and started investigation. 

CHAKWAL SEPTEMBER, 2. Chakwal Police recovered
illicit arms from the four accused and registered
separate against them.  Kallar Kahar Police recovered
30 bore pistol from Muhammad Amir resident of Village
Walana, Choa Saiden Shah Police recovered 32 bore
pistol from the accused Saqleen Hussain resident of
Village Jhaik while Abrar Hussain resident of Village
Maghal was booked as 30 bore pistol was recovered from
him while a 30 bore pistol was also recovered form the
accused Tassawar Hussain.  All the accused were sent
to the judicial lockup.
