CHAKWAL AUGUST, 31. No confidence motion will be
presented against Naib Nazim of Union Council Miani on
1st September and 13 councilors took oath that will
remain united and general councilor Malik Sultan will
be their leader.  The meeting of these councilors was
held at Kallar Kahar on Saturday and those councilors
who participated in the meeting were Malik Sultan,
Malik Iftikhar Chillah, Raja Azhar Hussain, Altaf
Haider, Malik Nazar Hussain, Malik Ghulam Hasnain,
Malik Muhammad Nazir, Malik Sher Khan, Safia Begum and
Sagheeran Begum.  All the 13 councilors leveled some
serious allegations against Naib Nazim Malik Safdar
Hussain and the councilor told that he had spent
rupees five Lac development funds at his own village
and when the councilors objected he become rude and
misbehave with the lady councilors.  The 13 councilors
claimed that they had the support of two other lady
councilors Zarina Begum and Zainab Bibi who did turn
up today due to a death of their close relative. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 31. The protest hunger strike camp
entered into fourth day at Chakwal Press Club and
twelve journalists observed hunger strike on Saturday
and again they demanded the arrest of the killers of
Pind Dadan Khan based journalist Raja Ejaz Ahmad.  The
Police was failed to trace out the killer as twelve
days have been passed.  The journalist bore black
bands on their arms and those who attended the hunger
strike camp were Safi-ud-Din Safi, Ishaq Hasrat, Malik
Nazir Ahmad, Muhammad Khan Aqil, Atif Rasheed,
Chairman Chakwal Press Club Fahim Akther Butt,
President Divisional Union of Journalist Khawaja Babar
Salim, Tahir Farooqi, Raja Muhammad Latif, Ch: Ejaz
Hussain, Muhammad Jamil Mughal and Raja Muhammad
Sajjad.  The star player of Pakistan Haki Team
Muddassar Ali and his father Nazim Union Council-3 Ch:
Khan Bahadar, Naib Nazim Arshad Butt, Councilors
Muhammad Ramzan, Raja Muhammad Umar Chairman Neghiban,
Muhammad Shabbir Ghouri President PTCL Line Staff
Rawalpindi Region, Malik Muhammad Yousaf, Sheikh
Muhammad Salim, Kazim Abbas, Muhammad Ramzan and
Muhammad Akhtar who visited the hunger camp and made
solidarity with the journalist community.  The
president Divisional Union of Journalist Rawalpindi
Khawaja Babar Salim announced that a protest meeting
and then a protest rally will be held at Chakwal Press
Club on 31st August at 1100 A.M and the journalists
from all over the Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Attock and
Chakwal will participate in the meeting and the rally.


CHAKWAL AUGUST, 31. An ASI of Punjab Police and his
brother were booked by Kallar Kahar Police as they man
handled SDO WAPDA Kallar Kahar on Saturday.  SDO
lodged a report in Kallar Kahar Police Station that
when he went to inspect the meter of Safdar Hussain at
Village Sar Kalan his brother Akhtar Hussain who was
an ASI in Punjab Police appeared on screen and he
started abusing SDO and not only man handled him but
also threatened of dire consequences.  Kallar Kahar
Police registered a case against the accused and
started investigation.
