Three news item from Kh. Suqrat Chakwal

CHAKWAL November 27: The murder case of Mirza Dilshad Khan was taken up
by Tanzeem Tahafaz Haqooq Sherian Chakwal and Tanzeem would extend its
co-operation and assistance to the father of the deceased, Mirza Waliat
Khan. This was decided in a meeting of supreme council of Tanzeem that was
chaired by its president Qazi Ghulam Abbas on Sunday. The president of
Federation Tajraan District Chakwal Ch. Munir Ahmed and senior members
attended the meeting. Mirza Waliat Khan who was also present at the meeting
presented a written application before the council and requested them to
help them because the accused involved in murder case were influential and
they also had the backing of political personalities. Moreover Chakwal
police has declared the main culprit Pir Abdul Sattar Nadeem S/o. Muhammad
Ismial innocent, therefore he feared that the murder case of his son was
spoiled. The Tanzeem assured Mirza Waliat Khan its full co-operation for him
and justice would be ensured. Supreme Council also approved Fahim Akhtar
Butt as a secretary general and Shahid Abbasi secretary finance for the
vacant seats. The office of Tanzeem was also established at Butt Market
Chakwal and there the applications from the common people for redressel of
their problems and grievances on purely humanitarians ground. The supreme
council also reposed its full confidence on its president Qazi Gulam Abbas
for his excellent services rendered by him during the last few years.

CHAKWAL November 27: A light drizzle on Sunday made the weather pleasant
and cold. The people brought out their woollies and warm clothes as the cool
breeze started blowing through out the day, while the Sky was also overcast.
The light rain not only dampened the earth and the environment but it also
had a very good impact on agriculture activities in this Barani area. The
deceased of cough and influenza would also minimized due to this change up
weather.

CHAKWAL November 27: The father of account officer telephone revenue
district Chakwal Raja Muhammad Zaman and recovery officer Raja Bostan Khan,
died due to heart failure. He was laid to rest at his native village Sodi
Gujjar Tehsil Pind Dadan Khan on Sunday evening and his last funeral was
largely attended by the people from all walk of life.

CHAKWAL December 18: Additional District & Session Judge Chakwal Sohail
Nasir acquitted a wife involved in a famous murder case of village Jangha of
Sadar Police Station Chakwal by giving her the benefit of the doubt as
prosecution was failed to prove the case. Sadar Police Chakwal arrested
accused Anwar Begum on the alleged killing of her husband Ahmed Khan on 29th
July 2005. The police also recovered axe and a rope that was used in the
murder of Ahmed Khan. The case was tried in the court and police was failed
to prove the case. Therefore, judge acquitted Anwar Begum.

CHAKWAL December 18: Chairman Board of Intermediate Rawalpindi Doctor
Abdul Jaleel has said that Government was trying its best to improve the
educational system and certain basic changes were in the card. He was
talking to the Head of the various educational institutions which he visited
during his recent visit to Chakwal. Chairman inspected Fauji Foundation
School, Ibne Seena School, Jinnah Public School, Iqbal Millat Secondary
School and Kiyani Model Secondary School Chakwal. The renowned educationist
Abid Hussain Kiyani apprised the Chairman about the various problems faced
by the educational institution. The Chairman Dr. Abdul Jaleel was of the
view that private sector was contributing a lot to provide quality education
to the people and helping to promote education in the society.

CHAKWAL December 18: Sadar Police Chakwal nabbed two drug and liquor
seller in two different operations and registered separate cases against
them. ASI Jafar Hussain during patrol arrested Tanveer Hussain S/o. Ghulam
Haider resident of village Odherwal and a bottle of liquor was recovered
from him. While additional SHO Noor Khan during the checking at Noorwal
Chowk recovered 40 gram charas from Nadeem Ashraf S/o. Muhammad Ashraf
resident of Islam Pura Chakwal. The accused were sent into judicial lockup.
