CHAKWAL AUGUST, 10. No confidence motion against the
acting Nazim and Naib Nazim of Union Council Jand Khan
Zada waas presented before Secretary Union Council on
Saturday.  Five women and seven male councilors put
their signatures in the no confidence motion against
acting Nazim Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan Advocate.  Those
who put their signatures in the motion are Bakhat
Noor, Surya Begum, Hamida Begum, Shaguta Bibi, Ghulam
Fatima, Muhammad Azam, Azhar Mehmood, Haji Abdul
Rasheed, Abdul Khaliq, Haji Zulfiqar Ahmad, Haji Abdul
Aziz and Zahoor Ahmad.  The mover of the motion Azhar
Mehmood councilor told that three more councilors are
with them and that will be shown on the day of voting.
Secretary Union Council Haji Muhammad Younas told on
this occasion that the voting will be held within
three days.  Later on the twelve councilors alleged
that the acting Nazim Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan Advocate
have started a one way traffic and he is not taking
all the councilors into confidence as for as the
development projects are concerned.  They further
alleged that after the death of Nazim Muhammad Khan
Kaal, we nominated Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan as acting
Nazim but he failed to come up with the expectations
of the councilors.  The councilors reposed their
confidence on District Nazim Sardar Ghulam Abbas and
State Minister for Environment Major Tahir Iqbal.  The
president of PMLQ Tehsil Chakwal Mr. Mushtaq Bhatti
and Nazim Union Council Dhumman Malik Zafar Iqbal were
also present on this occasion.  It is interesting that
Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan advocate supported the candidate
of PMLN in the recent October general election. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 10. A roof of the billiard club at
Chakwal-Rawalpindi road was caved in on Saturday
afternoon, resulting killing of a 20 years old young
man on the spot while the two others received multiple
injuries.  The roof was collapsed after a heavy down
pour on Saturday which lasted for one and a hour.  The
roof was collapsed due to heavy rain and all the three
persons who were playing billiard  in the room and all
of a sudden the roof collapsed and fell down on them.
Naveed Akhter resident of mohallah Ashraf Town was
killed on the spot while Muhammad Shakeel and Muhammad
Nisar was rushed to District Headquarter Hospital
Chakwal for medical treatment.  After two hours hectic
efforts by the people of the area three persons were
removed from the debris.  Due to heavy rains the low
lying area of Chakwal City were badly effected as the
water entered into the houses and shops of Jhelum road
and Hospital road causing heavy losses to the
material.

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 10. Three stadiums will be constructed
in District Chakwal and the lands for Choa Saiden Shah
stadium has been allocated and initial survey have
been completed and the work on this project will be
started very soon.  This was stated by District Nazim
Chakwal Sardar Ghulam Abbas while talking to a
delegation of sportsmen who meet him.  District Nazim
further told that a sports stadium will be constructed
at Nakka Kahuat for Tehsil Talagang while the land for
Tehsil Chakwal stadium will be allocated later on.
District Nazim further told that the project of sports
complex Chakwal will also be started very soon.
