CHAKWAL AUGUST, 20. A young man and his real sister
were murdered by their father at Village Mohra Alu
some 20 kilometer from here in between Monday and
Tuesday night in the area of Dhudial Police Station.
The accused Muhammad Aslam armed with axis woke up
after midnight and he started inflicted multiple
injuries to his son Muhammad Akram (29) and his
daughter Fouzia of 22 years of age, resulting killing
both on the spot.  The accused suspected that both
brother and sister had developed illicit relation with
each other.  The accused surrendered him before
Dhudial Police Station with the axis used in double
murder.  Police on the report of Abdul Razaq who was
the brother of the accused registered a case and
started investigation. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 20. A newly born girl was expired due
to neglect of lady doctor at Tehsil Headquarter
Hospital Choa Saiden Shah.  Truck driver Muhammad
Younas resident of Village Minhala came to Tehsil
Headquarter Hospital Choa Saiden Shah with his wife
who was in pain of delivery, the lady doctor was not
found on the duty and the driver approached the lady
doctor at her residence but she refused to come out
and check the lady.  In the meantime the lady
delivered a girl in the pickup and after four hours of
the delivery due to non-availability of medical check
up the minor girl passed away.  The driver Muhammad
Younas lodged a complaint before Medical
Superintendent THQ Hospital Choa Saiden Shah and also
he lodged application to District Nazim Chakwal and
EDO Health Chakwal in which he demanded immediate
inquiry against the lady doctor Aysha due to her
neglect of duty. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 20. District and Sessions Judge
Chakwal Ch: Riaz Ahmad has acquitted all the seven
accused involved in the famous murder case of Village
Langah of Dhumman Police Station.  The accused Bahadar
Khan, Ghulam Mustafa and Ghulam Ali etc. were booked
by the Police some 1 쩍 years ago on a murder of a man
due to land dispute.  The prosecution was failed to
prove the case therefore the learned Judge have given
them the benefit of the doubt. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 21. Uniform and LFO are not the
problems of common people and if opposition feels some
adjustments then this issue can be solved through
dialogue and the parliament should function smoothly
and the basic object of the parliament is legislation
and it should be continued.  This was stated by
Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Housing Punjab Mr.
Ejaz Hussain Farhat while addressing meet the press
program at Chakwal Press Club on Wednesday.  Mr. Ejaz
Hussain Farhat was of the view that the strengthening
of democratic institution is the need of the hour and
during the past 15 years of democracy from 1985 to
1999, it is regretted that politicians and political
parties had not played their role affectively and then
comes halt and now after only three years the
democracy is revived and now it is the responsibility
of the politicians and political parties to behave and
make the country democratic.  Replying to an other
question Mr. Ejaz Hussain Farhat told that the present
Government in the center and in Punjab Province is
promoting a new political culture, free of
victimization and all the political worker especially
belonging to opposition were not treated like opponent
and they are also working freely and there is no
mis-use of Police department.  Replying to an other
question Mr. Ejaz Hussain Farhat told that the
alliance between General Majeed Group and District
Nazim Sardar Ghulam Abbas is working affectively in
District Chakwal and there is no seriously differences
among the top leadership, however there are small and
petty differences among the workers level had
developed but it is a part of difference of opinion
which is the basic concept of democracy.  He told that
he is in PMLQ and he had contested the election on the
ticket of PMLQ, therefore there is no second thought
as propagated against him that he had not joined PMLQ.
He further told that District Nazim Chakwal Sardar
Ghulam Abbas is also working in line of Provincial
Government and District Nazim also enjoyed the full
support of Chief Minister Punjab Ch: Pervaiz Ellahi
and District Nazim Chakwal presented two MPA’s from
District Chakwal who won election independently and
then joined PMLQ before Chief Minister Punjab Ch:
Pervaiz Ellahi.  Mr. Ejaz Hussain Farhat further told
that the member of assemblies and District Government
Chakwal are working jointly and there is a complete
understanding between the members of assemblies and
District Government regarding the uplift and
development schemes in District Chakwal.  Mr. Ejaz
Hussain Farhat assured full support to Chakwal Press
Club for the promotion of healthy journalism in
District Chakwal. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 21. A taxi car was snatched at pistol
point near Balkassar interchange some 20 kilometer
from here by three unknown persons.  A man and a women
from Rawalpindi booked a taxi car No.LHV-4822 for
Chakwal and when the car came out from Balkassar
interchange on motorway, an other person boarded in
the car and soon after they took out pistols and on
pistol point after giving a sound threshing to the
driver Muhammad Idrees they tied the driver with ropes
and threw him in the deserted place and managed to
make good their escape with the car.  Saddar Police
Chakwal registered the case against the unknown
accused and started searching the car and the accused.


CHAKWAL AUGUST, 21. DCO Chakwal Mr. Sajjad Salim
Hotiana is proceeding for a course abroad and in his
place Executive District Officer Revenue Chakwal Ch:
Talib Hussain shall hold the charge of the post of DCO
Chakwal in addition to his own duties.  Ch: Talib
Husasin will assume the additional charge of DCO
Chakwal on 22nd August.
