CHAKWAL AUGUST, 14. Two persons including a three
months old minor child were killed and five other
sustained multiple injuries in two different
incidents.  A student of fourth year class was drowned
at Walana Dam some 30 kilometer from here on
Wednesday.  The deceased Muhammad Sibtain resident of
Village Murid went to Walana Dam with his two friends
on Motorcycle.  During the swimming Sibtain went into
deep water and his foot was blocked in a heavy rock
inside the Dam.  His dead body was recovered by the
divers brought from Mangla Dam after several hours.
In the second incident a speedy car was collided with
a wagon at Chakwal Choa Saiden Shah road, resulting
killing of three months minor girl Sidra while his
father Muhammad Irfan, mother and two other sons
received multiple injuries.  All the injured were
shifted to District Headquarter Hospital Chakwal while
wagon No. 178 driver fled away from the scene.
Dhumman Police registered a case against the accused
and started investigation.

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 14. The wife along with his young son
shot injured her husband at Village Maingan on
Wednesday some 15 kilometers from here.  Muhammad
Iqbal had a domestic dispute with his wife Saeeda Bibi
and his son Zafar Iqbal.  After breakfast they had a
quarrel with each other and in the meantime Saeeda
Bibi took out 30 bore pistol and open fire on her
husband.  Iqbal was shifted to District Headquarter
Hospital Chakwal in critical condition.  Saddar Police
Chakwal registered a case and started investigation. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 14. Federal Minister Mr. Mehmood Ali
will be special guest at All Pakistan Madir-e-Millat
and Independence Day Mushaira that is scheduled to be
held on 14th August at District Council Hall, District
Complex Chakwal.  Bazm-e-Adbiat Paksitan Chakwal have
finalized the arrangements of Mushaira with the
cooperation of District Nazim Sardar Ghulam Abbas.
The Mushaira will be presided over by Sarmad Sehbai
while Mrs. Shahida Latif will be the chief guest.  The
poets from all over the country will participate the
Mushaira. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 14. Former Federal Minister Mr. J.
Salik will participate at the meet the press program
of Chakwal Press Club today.  Mr. J. Salik
will talk about the latest political situation of the
country and later on he will answered the questions of
journalists.
