CHAKWAL JULY, 31.     One Person was killed while eight other persons including three women were injured in three different incidents in the area of Dhuman and Dhudial police stations on Wednsday. In the first incident at village Dhoke Qutib-ud-Din the cattle were entered into the farm field of Ghulam Murtaza who along with his bother Muhammad Ilyas armed with axis attacked on Muhammad Shabbir, Muhammad Amir and his wife and inflicted multiple injuries to them. Muhammad Shabbir was shifted to Rawalpindi hospital in critical   condition but he died on his way. In the second incident two ribal groups attacked on each other in village Dewalian as five persons were injured. Muhammad Afsar, Muhammad Hamid, Muhammad Muazafar and W/O Muahmamd Hamid armed with dandas and axis attacked on Munsaf Khan, his Son Muhammad Suleman and wife. In hand to hand fight Munsaf Khan, Muhammad Suleman and Mrs. Munsaf Khan recived multiple injuries from one side while Muhammad Muzafar and his daughter were also injured. Dhuman police have registered cross cases against the accused and started investigation. In the 3rd incident at village Mian Mair two lady health workers exchange hot words with each other and they also slapped each other in the mean time Naghma Jabeen took his father Muhammad Ajaib and brother armed with dandas attacked on the house of lady worker Tabbasum Mushtaq and injured her aunt Shahnaz Akthar as she was hit by a danda on her head. She was shifted to DHQ Hospital Chakwal.

 

CHAKWAL JULY, 31.     The election of hawkers union Chakwal city was completed on Wednesday and all the office barir were elected unanimously. Those who were elected are president Sona Khan, general secretary Qaisr Abbas, senior vise president Ghulam Shabbir Safri, vice president Ghulam Hasnain Babo, press secretary Aamir Ali, while three members executive committee comprising Mamriz Khan, Zumard Khan and Muahmmad Rafique Irfan. The union reposed their full confidence on their leader Tika Khan Abbasi.

 

CHAKWAL JULY, 31.     District Officer Buildings Chakwal Sultan Mahmood Ahmad who was on long leave due to his health condition was transferred from here and on his place Muhammad Azam was appointed new District Officer Buildings Chakwal. Muhammad Azam in the previous setup served district Chakwal as an XEN Building for three years. He is very competent civil engineer.
