CHAKWAL AUGUST, 22. District Assembly Chakwal on
Thursday approved various development schemes
regarding construction of roads, class rooms,
electrification of Villages and hundreds of other
schemes, however opposition members walked out from
the session as they were protesting that their
development schemes were not included in this list.
The session was presided by convener and Naib District
Nazim Chakwal Malik Naeem Tariq and after the
recitation of holy Quran leader of opposition and
opposition member Malik Feroz Khan took the flour and
they protested that they were assured by ruling group
that the development schemes of opposition members
will be included in the proposed development schemes
but their schemes were not included.  The opposition
members boycotted the session and walked out from the
meeting.  After the boycott the house suspended the
development schemes of opposition members that were
included in the list.  Those who spoke on this
occasion are Malik Muhammad Ashraf Bhalial, Raja
Ghulam Abbas, Dr. Sajjad Ahmad, Malik Feroz Khan,
Major 짰 Abrar Hussain Shah, Malik Jahangir, Pir Nisar
Qasim, Muhammad Nazir Shami, Farzana Imtiaz, Rehana
Babar Salim , Qurban Husnain Shah, Amir Butt Advocate,
Malik Gulistan and Muhammad Shafique Ranjha.  The
house was told that the District Government will spent
rupees 410 millions for development schemes in
District Chakwal and development schemes will be
started in all the 68 Union Councils of District
Chakwal. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 22. 2 persons were killed at Village
Munday in the area of Nila Police Station some 25
kilometer from here and five other sustained multiple
injuries when two rival groups opened firing on each
other.  The motive behind the incident was a land
dispute.  Those who were killed from each side are
Muhammad Safdar and Nisar Ahmad while those who were
shifted to District Headquarter Hospital Chakwal
Muhammad Azad, Muhammad Munshi and Qamar Sultana from
one side while Sabir Hussain and his son Muhammad
Ashraf from other side.  Nila Police Station
registered cross cases of murder against both the
parties and taken the injured accused from both sides
into its custody at District Headquarter Hospital
Chakwal and started investigation. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 22. EDO Health Chakwal Dr. Akram
Zahid ordered an inquiry against the lady doctor of
Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Choa Saiden Shah due to
her neglect as a newly born baby girl was expired due
to non-attention paid by the lady doctor.  The father
of the deceased girl Muhammad Younas resident of
Village Minhala  lodged a complaint and alleged that
lady doctor Aysha did not turn up to check her wife
which was brought to the Hospital for delivery.  The
lady delivered a girl in the van and after four hours
the newly born girl was died due to non-availability
of medical treatment.  Medical Superintendent Tehsil
Headquarter Hospital Choa Saiden Shah will conduct the
inquiry. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST, 22. Divisional Union of Journalists
Rawalpindi will hold a protest meeting at Pind Dadan
Khan Press Club on 22nd August to condemn the killing
of a journalist Raja Ejaz Ahmad over their by unknown
assailants.  Divisional Union President Kh: Babar
Salim and other office bearers will participate the
protest.  The journalist will bore black bands and
they will demand immediate arrest of the killers of
Raja Ejaz Ahmad.
