CHAKWAL AUGUST 2. Fourteen prize bond numbers dealers
were nabbed by City Police Chakwal and recovered fake
prize bond numbers and cash amount from them and cases
were registered against them on Friday.  These fake
prize bond dealers were selling prize bond numbers in
their houses as Government hand banned the selling of
prize bond numbers and termed this business illegal.
Those who were apprehended are Muhammad Shahid, Aamir
Shahzad, Muhammad Kashif, Rashid Nadeem, Arshad
Mehmood, Imran Ali, Khurshid Ahmad, Kh: Hakeem Yousaf,
Abdul Majeed, Shahid Iqbal, Naik Muhammad Bashir,
Bilal Murtaza, Faisal Shahzad.  The Police recovered
one lac 24 thousands rupees and prize bond numbers
from the accused.  ASP Chakwal Ashfaq Ahmad himself
supervised the operation led by Additional SHO City
Chakwal Muhamad Aslam.  These prize bond dealers were
minting money from people by offering them huge and
handsome prizes and the people have deprived of their
hard earned money in this gambling act and this
illegal business now were shifted into the drawing
rooms of these prize bonds numbers sellers mafia. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST 2. Sixteen armed persons stormed into
the house of a commission agent at Village Dingi Bala
in the area of Nila Police Station and looted rupees
24 thousands from the commission agent.  Zafar Iqbal
lodged a report in the Police Station that he along
with his family were sleeping in the court yard in the
house and all of a sudden sixteen peoples he came in
two different vehicles trespassed into his house and
on pistol-point they took all his family members in a
room and then looted rupees 24 thousands cash and
other valuable articles amounting of thousands of
rupees and the unknown thieves were managed to make
good their escape from the scene in the darkness.
Nila Police has registered a case and started
investigation. 

CHAKWAL AUGUST 2. District and Sessions Judge Chakwal
Ch: Riaz Ahmad acquitted an accused involved in a
famous murder case of Village Balkassar of Saddar
Police Station.  The accused paid an amount of rupees
seven lac when a local Girga settled the dispute
between the two groups.  The accused Qazi Sajid had
killed an Afghani Muhammad Aslam when the cattleĆ¢€™s
of Afghani were grazing in the farm field of Qazi
Sajid which got him infuriated and he attacked
Muhammad Aslam with DARANTI and killed him on the
spot.  The legal hears of the deceased appeared in the
court and recorded their statement that they had
received QASAS from the accused and pardoned the
killer.  The learned Judge after recording the
statement acquitted the accused.
